Re-opening!

As state and local bans are lifted, we will do our best to bring you information as museums, theaters, galleries, etc. begin to open their doors, once again. 
The Cultural Council and our local
 organizations will be taking every precaution to assure that the community can safely return to these venues and a renewed, thriving art scene in Jacksonville.
The Cummer Museum and Gardens
The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is moving into Phase 2 of its reopening plan, and will be reopening its galleries to the public on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.


MOSH
MOSH is officially reopening to the public on Monday, June 15 with the debut of our summer traveling exhibition, Dinosaurs Around the World. Check website for visiting restrictions.

Beaches Fine Art Series
New season will start on October 4th. See website for details.

Word Revolt Gallery - Book Release: Joan & The Man
 

Come on down to Word Revolt Art Gallery on Saturday June 13th from 4 to 8 PM for your signed copy of the all new novella from Todd Rykaczewski, Joan & The Man. Follow this story of adventure of Joan and the archetypal character of The Man as the couple pull themselves out of isolation and into Utopia.

The Performers Academy COVID Conscious Summer Camp: We Act Up!
Registration is now open for ​Camp We Act Up! The Performer Academy’s Summer Theater Camp. We are opening this camp up to TEN (10) kids, aged nine to fourteen (9 - 14) in our 2000 square foot Black Box Theater. To maintain a “Covid Conscious Camp”, each child will be assigned to an individual activity center, separated from other children by a minimum of six feet. Each child will also receive their own personalized sanitization kit.
We welcome all eligible youth to join us for Camp We Act Up. Camp will run from June 1st to July 10th from 9am to 4pm. Before and after care are available. Registering online is simple and may be done so ​here​ (bit.ly/3bi5ij3). 

The Florida Theatre
The theatre is opening on July 11, 2020 with their first event since the quarantine.
