JAX ARTS PROJECT - ROUND 2 GRANT APPLICATION NOW OPEN

The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville has once again partnered with PNC Foundation  on a grant program for individual artists living in Northeast Florida.  Thanks to the PNC Foundation for support of this program!

The JAX Arts Project - Round 2 will award seven grants of $2,500 each.  The funds will enable the artist (of any discipline) to focus on the completion of a work product.  This could be an entirely new work, or a work that the artist previously started, but plans to complete during the six-month grant period (May 15-Nov. 15, 2023).  Following the grant period, all grantees will then have the opportunity to share and discuss their work in a community forum hosted by the Cultural Council and PNC.

Deadline to submit online applications for the JAX Arts Project – Round 2 is Tuesday, April 18, 2023 (11:59 p.m.).

Jacksonville's Arts & Culture Scene

Arts and culture organizations had to quickly pivot direction last spring. From museum exhibits to theater and dance performances, and more, these organizations worked tirelessly to provide us with virtual instruction and entertainment. As these venues open to new restrictions and guidelines they continue to bring world-class entertainment to the Jacksonville community, online and in person.

The video below shares a slice of Jacksonville's thriving arts and culture scene.
