Arts and culture organizations had to quickly pivot direction last spring. From museum exhibits to theater and dance performances, and more, these organizations worked tirelessly to provide us with virtual instruction and entertainment. As these venues open to new restrictions and guidelines they continue to bring world-class entertainment to the Jacksonville community, online and in person. The video below shares a slice of Jacksonville's thriving arts and culture scene.

THE CULTURAL ARTS HOLIDAY GRANT PROGRAM
Does your organization have a holiday or fall concert, play, exhibit, workshop, etc. planned that could be enhanced to include services to senior citizens and/or veterans and military families? Yes? Then, please take advantage of the Cultural Arts Holiday Grant Program to obtain additional funding to offer transportation, add a performance, or provide free admission to these target audiences.
Grants of $2,500 each will be awarded to organizations, including 501(c)3 nonprofits, higher education institutions, units of state or local government, or Indian tribal government located and operating in Duval, Nassau, St. Johns, Clay and Baker counties in Florida.
Qualifying expenses for artistic and cultural projects benefiting senior citizens and/or veterans and military families must occur between July 1 - Dec. 31, 2022. Grant awards must be matched dollar for dollar in cash by Dec. 31, 2022. Matching funds may include additional project or operating expenses.
Each application will be evaluated on artistic excellence, project merit, risk for non-compliance, and how well it meets the eligibility criteria of the program.
